I look back to last February and I remember being a single mom of three, severely unemployed and broke, fat, depressed, and surviving on cookies, pastries and other sweets. I cried. I slept. I ate. That was my life.
In March of 2014 I was not motivated to be fit, or to lose weight. All I knew was that I was fed up with how I looked and all the things people kept saying to me about how big I was. I cried. I ate. I slept some more.
March 16, 2014 I walked in to my local gym and got a membership. For weeks I went in on my own but knew I needed professional help. April 16, some how, despite my lack of money, I managed to hire a personal trainer. My kids and I survived on the food bank as a result, but it was a sacrifice worth making. I couldn’t get a job because I felt so bad about myself.
Eventually, I found you online. My life will never be the same. I’ve lost 70lbs to date, have a great job that keeps me active through the day, can I get a better job? I will one day. I’m even in a new and wonderful relationship after surviving extreme abuse from my ex husband.
I no longer know who I once was. Weak and afraid. The future is full of hope and joy. Fitness has saved my life! And I thank you for great coaching!”
